Former Miss Earth India takes part in Sun Island tree planting programme

Aaital Khosla, who represented India at the Miss Earth 2015 pageant, participated in a tree planting programme hosted by Sun Island Resort and Spa.

According to the resort, the tree-planting programme was organised by the Sun Island Environment Club. Aaital Khosla, who is currently vacationing with her family at the resort, took part in the programme on Monday morning.

Sun Island’s Human Resources manager and president of the Environment Club, Aboobakuru Qasim, said that Khosla was very supportive and encouraging of the cause.

The tree planting programme is a regular initiative of the Sun Island Environment Club. Aboobakuru Qasim revealed that the resort has been conducting the programme for four years.

Sun Island Resort and Spa is operated in the island of Nalaguraidhoo in Alif Dhaal atoll. The largest resort in the Maldives, Sun Island was also crowned the Leading Eco Resort at the MATATO Maldives Travel Awards in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
