H.E President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has sent a message of congratulations to the President of Sri Lanka, H.E Gotabaya Rajapaksa, following the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna’s (SLPP’s) decisive victory in Sri Lanka’s parliamentary elections this year. President Solih’s message reads as follows:
“It gives me great pleasure to extend warm greetings and sincere good wishes to Your Excellency, the Government and people of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka on the successful conclusion of parliamentary elections.
The resounding victory of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) is testament to the confidence the Sri Lankan people place in your able leadership.
