President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has arrived back in Male’ at the conclusion of an official visit to North Maalhosmadulu Atoll islands of Maduvvari, Fainu and Meedhoo.
During the visit, the President inaugurated the sewerage system in Madduvari and attended the function held to mark the completion of the island’s beach protection project.The President also inaugurated the harbour in Fainu and officially opened the Meedhoo Mosque, Masjidul Awwaabeen. He also inaugurated water and sewerage services in Meedhoo.
The President was accompanied during the visit by Cabinet Ministers, Members of Parliament and a senior official of the government.
