The Juvenile Court revealed that the minor is charged with homicide by sharp force. The court did not disclose the suspect’s identity, as Maldivian law protects the personal information of minors who charged with criminal offences.
The court stated that it received the case last Sunday. The preliminary hearing of the trial is scheduled for October 22.
Police have arrested two other suspects, Mohamed Saaz, 21, of Thaa atoll Kinbidhoo island and Afrah Abdul Razzaq, 21, of Male in connection with the murder.
