President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has this evening inaugurated the new water production centre ‘RO Annex’ of Male’ Water and Sewerage Company. The President toured the new production centre upon its inauguration.
The new water production centre was inaugurated under the water security plan, with the aim of decentralizing the operation hub and providing a long-term irrigation service to the people.
The new RO plant has the capacity to produce 5000 tons of water up to 2500 cbm. This is an increase of 25% water security in Male’ region.
