Galolhu South Constituency MP Ahmed Mahloof has met the EU Ambassador to the Maldives Tung-Laï.
The Parliamentarian said the two had discussed on how the EU resolution on the Maldives can be implemented and measures to ensure that 2018 Presidential elections can be free and fair.
MP Mahloof also said he had briefed the Ambassador on current Parliament proceedings.
MP Mahloof had welcomed the EU resolution on the Maldives.
The Government of Maldives had rejected the resolution passed by EU. The opposition maintains that the resolution ensures that free and fair elections can be held in 2018.
