The Maldives has won key wins in the World Travel Awards.
The Maldives and resort brands won the awards at the 24th World Travel Awards held in Vietnam.
The Maldives won global Leading Dive Destination award, Leading Honeymoon Destination, while Maldives’ Hulhule’ Island Hotel won Leading Airport Resort award.
St. Regis Maldives Vohmuli claimed the most awards. The resort won awards for Leading Luxury Island Resort, Leading Luxury New Resort and Leading Resort Design award.
Baros Maldives won the award for the Most Romantic Resort. Leading Water Villa award went to Sun Aqua Vilureef and Leading Underwater Restaurant award went to Anantara Kihavah Resort’s Sea Restaurant. Constance Moofushi won the award for Leading Dive Resort.
