Health Protection Agency (HPA) has declared a curfew in the Greater Male’ area restricting vehicle and foot traffic until further notice.
HPA has stated that from 2nd April 5 pm to 8 pm all the public transportations will be suspended.
All the gatherings of more than 3 people are also banned at all times according to the statement released by the HPA.
The government has taken this strict measure to control the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in the Maldives.
