Donations of MVR 352,010 received for Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race 2017, was handed over to NGOs by the company. The donations were handover by the management team of the company, during a special ceremony held at the Dhiraagu Head Office on 13 December.
This year 9 NGOs took part in the biggest international running race held in the Maldives and the donations were distributed equally amongst these NGOs The donations were collected by giving away t-shirts during the Bib number collection. T-shirts were given to participants upon a minimum donation of MVR 50. Apart from that Dhiraagu also donated MVR 200,000 to the 5 most popular NGOs.
