Crown & Champa Resorts Offer PCR Testing in All its Resorts

Following the most recent requirements from certain airlines and countries for their travellers to provide a negative PCR test certificate upon their travel journey, Crown & Champa Resorts is introducing PCR testing for those guests with this compulsory requirement within each resort of the collection.

Where applicable, the PCR Testing Procedure will be as follows across the Crown & Champa Resorts Collection:

Free of charge for stays more than 7 nights, with the following terms to be considered:
– Only applicable if the guest has a compulsory requirement by airline or home country
– Only applicable for a maximum occupancy of 3 persons per room, additional persons as per the below supplement
– Of guest wishes to conduct the test as a personal requirement, the PCR Test Supplement will apply, subject to availability of the clinic

Supplement cost of USD 150.00 per person:
– For stays less than 7 nights
– Or without a compulsory requirement by airline or home country
– If the guest wishes to conduct the test as a personal requirement

CCR reports that each PCR Test will be done through their well trained medical team whenever possible, in the resort and results will be received before departure.

Continuing to move forward and adapt to the ‘new normal’, Crown & Champa Resorts introduced – Safe Holiday Experience in Paradise – guidelines and protocols for enhanced hygiene and safety.

This initiative is focused on enhanced resorts and hotel cleaning standards and procedures, hygiene and safety practices, guest and employee interactions, and workplace guidelines while ensuring transparency throughout the customer experience journey, the Group reports. These guidelines will transform resorts and hotel industry standards and practices in the Maldives, to ensure that guests and employees are confident in the hygiene and safety of the Crown & Champa properties.

The guidelines and protocols were carefully sourced, strategized and effectively implemented through the Group’s internal Quality Assurance Department. Guidance and support from the internationally accredited and well-established partners – Ecolab/Greenpath Maldives and Ian Greaves International (IGI UK) – has been continuously followed and implemented. The guidelines and protocols also support the local health protection agency and government guidelines.
