State Electric Company (STELCO) has announced that it had installed a disinfection gate at its office building as a safety measure against the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to STELCO, the disinfection gate had been installed in the company’s head office as a crucial measure to ensure the safety of the company’s employees and customers.
Previously, STELCO has arranged to issue electricity bills of customers who sent photographs of their electricity meters instead of visiting the households for recording readings, as a measure to protect employees and customers from the virus. Those who arrive at the company’s office will be checked for any symptoms of flu or cold before being allowed to enter the premises.
