A man who was involved in a motorbike accident in Maradhoo ward of the southern-most Addu City passed away on Tuesday night.
Reportedly, Mohamed Haneef of ‘Vilige’ in Maradhoo was driving alone when he skid over a speed bump and crashed.
He had suffered traumatic injuries to his head and passed away while being treated at the Hithadhoo Regional Hospital.
Many fatal injuries occur every year on the roads of Addu City – the biggest city in the Maldives. It also has the notorious ‘Link Road’, which is the second longest road in the Maldives and infamous for fatal accidents.
