Shenzhen is a major city in Guangdong Province, China. Shenzhen is located in the southern portion of the Guangdong Province, on the eastern shore of the Pearl River Delta. Neighboring the Pearl River Delta and Hong Kong, Shenzhen’s location gives it a geographical advantage for economic development. In 1980, the first Special Economic Zone of China was built in this city.
The artwork displayed at the exhibition displayed stunning images of the city and its development from a fishing village to a vibrant city. Prior to the Inauguration of the Photography Exhibition, the Chinese delegation paid a courtesy visit to MMPRC where possible collaborative ventures were discussed.
