Ooredoo Maldives announced that all calls to Sri Lanka and India can now be made at a reduced rate for 48 hours on 01-02 December in order to enable all customers to get in touch with their family and friends in the region, in the midst of the ongoing Cyclonic Storm Ockhi affecting the region.
The operator reduced the call rate to India to MVR 0.99 per minute while calls to Sri Lanka were slashed to MVR 2.09 per minute.
