Association of Travel Agents Maldives (ATA) has announced that they are to take part in 15 tourism fairs across the globe including two road shows in order to promote the Maldives.
ATA, founded by individuals who have pioneered the tourism industry Maldives have said that the trade fairs will go on from January until October 2018. Among the trade shows announced by ATA includes markets that carry great potential for the Maldives. This includes two road shows that are organized by ATA themselves which is Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia Roadshow and the South Africa Johannesburg Roadshow.
2018 is set to be an exciting and active year for the tourism promotion of Maldives. Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) recently announced that they are to take part in 19 travel trade fairs throughout the year while the national marketing body Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) announced that they will take part in 15 travel trade fairs as well. With the addition of fairs attended by ATA, the total tourism promotion activity of the Maldives went up to 49 fairs across the globe.
