The Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Maldives (CA Maldives), the professional accounting body established in the Maldives to develop and regulate accountancy profession is now accepting applications for its membership as an associate and fellow members.
To apply for Associate Membership of CA Maldives, the individual shall be a member in good standing of an IFAC member body recognised by the Institute in addition to meeting the general eligibility criteria.
To apply for Fellow Membership of CA Maldives, the individual shall be a member in good standing of an IFAC member body recognised by the Institute in addition to meeting the general eligibility criteria and has worked in public practice or, in commerce industry, or as a lecturer at an institution of higher education or, as an accountant in business for a period of at least five years.
Given the Covid 19 pandemic, the Council of CA Maldives has decided to waive the admission fee of members which is MVR 2,500 for the year 2021. All members will be subject to an annual subscription of MVR 2,500 upon admission. As CA Maldives membership is required to apply for Statutory Audit Licenses, CA Maldives encourages applicants to apply as early as possible.
