Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company (MIFCO) has revealed that the company is preparing to launch two new products to the market.
MIFCO intends to launch the two new products—processed canned valhomas within 2 months period and dried coconut husk in the upcoming week.
The organic, chemical-free coconut husk product is specially aimed for the agricultural sector as the Maldives has recently seen a spike in this industry.
CEO of MIFCO, Ismail Fauzee states that the company hopes to launch more products to accommodate the needs of the market. Machinery for the production has been brought to Felivaru.
He also highlighted that the ‘Hot Pack’ launched by MIFCO in late July received immense support from the community.
