Manta Air confirms to continue its flights for the local community with its Seaplane service, effective from 01 April 2020 to both Dhaalu and Baa Atoll.
Manta Air has decided to continue daily flights using its seaplanes to maintain regular domestic transfer connectivity in these atolls and also for emergency flights due to the continued requests from the local community.
Given the drastic decline in travel resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and foreseeable financial impact, the airline has also made the decision to temporarily suspend its fixed scheduled ATR services to Dhaalu Airport and Dharavandhoo Airport from 01 April 2020 until the current situation in the Maldives improves.
All its customers who wish to travel during this period may book tickets via www.mantaair.mv/book or through their reservations team.
In addition to this, Manta Air said they will continue to support the on-demand charter flight requirements for both ATR and twin-otters if there is a specific requirement from its partners at any time during this period.
The airline previously announced suspension of all flights to Kooddoo (GKK) airport effective from 29 March 2020 and flights to Dharavandhoo (DRV) and Dhaalu (DDD) airport were reduced from 16th March.
