Another Bollywood celeb has landed in the Maldives! The latest to jet off to the beach island is Rakul Preet Singh, who flew down to the Maldives on Thursday morning along with her parents and brother for a short vacation.
Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani, Taapsee Pannu, Varun Dhawan and Neha Dhupia were among those who took off to the Maldives to take a break from the days spent in the pandemic. Tara Sutaria and Aadar Jain are currently in the Maldives.
The De De Pyaar De actress took to Instagram and shared a picture of herself enjoying the cool sea under the blue sky. The diva looked stunning as she posed for the camera in a green swimwear, which she teamed with a multi-coloured cape. Captioning the picture, the Marjaavaan actress wrote, “Smell the sea, feel the sky, let your soul and spirit fly.”
The actress also shared a video on her Instagram story, where she can be seen taking a dip in the blue sea with a picturesque backdrop.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Rakul has joined Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn in the thriller drama Mayday. Directed and produced by Ajay Devgn, Rakul will play the role of a pilot. The film will go on the floors in Hyderabad next month. Taking to Twitter, the actress expressed her excitement, as she wrote, “Can’t express how thrilled I am to be on board (literally squinting face with tongue) as a co-pilot in #MAYDAY. It’s a dream come true to work with @SrBachchan sir. @ajaydevgn thankyouuu and preparing for takeoff.”
Rakul will also be seen in Indian 2, starring Kamal Haasan. Helmed by Shankar, the film also stars Kajal Aggarwal. The actress will also share screen space with Arjun Kapoor, John Abraham, and Aditi Rao Hydari in an untitled cross-border love story.
