The first Annual General Assembly of MLA for 2017 was held on 7th February 2016 at the National Library Training Institute.
A total of 24 people attended the meeting including members and non-members.
The meeting overall, was very successful and brought together new members from school libraries.
The National Library (Gaumee Kuthubuhaanaa) was established in 1945 and serves as the Public and National Library of the country, providing a diverse collection of all published reading materials and documents within the country. The National Library is financed by the government and functions under the Ministry of Information Arts and Culture.
