Ooredoo Maldives has revamped and updated their “Text a Coffee”, a first of its kind service which now allows Ooredoo customers to gift a variety of favourites from popular food outlets through My Ooredoo App or a web portal.
“The concept of going for a coffee is something very unique to the Maldives, which is interpreted as catching up with friends or family over a simple drink or some food. Our “Text a Coffee” service is an innovative and fun way to reach out to loved ones, by sending them a coffee, food or even an ice-cream through a simple text message or web platform. We received a wonderful response from our customers during the initial launch, and we hope that they have a lot of fun with the new features”, stated Mr Hussain Niyaz, the Director of Sales and Brand for Ooredoo Maldives.
“Text a Coffee” now provides customers to send an array of drinks and snacks from popular food places such as Cafe’ Lyre, Mövenpick as well as Sandwich Baa. Ooredoo is working towards adding even more products to the menu.
Customers can now easily Text a Coffee to any of their friends and family, on any local network. A confirmation text will be sent to the person on the receiving end with details of the gift along with a transaction code. The person simply needs to visit the relevant cafe’ or restaurant and share the code with them to receive and enjoy the gift.
