Sakuna Senabuth of Police Club had the out-of-this-world performance to send them to the final of 18/30 Women’s Futsal Fiesta (WFF) 2019 for the second time in a row. They defeated the most successful team, Club Immigration, surprisingly by 8-5 to get one step closer to their first glory of the tournament.
Sakuna scored a double hat trick on the go and was well involved in stopping the attacks of Immigration. Police Club’s playmaker Sawitree Mamyalee was perhaps the bravest person on the field, threatening the opponents, by either a key pass or a powerful shot, most of the time when she had the ball.
Sakuna scored the opening goal for Police Club in the first half from a long way, firing the ball from her own half. Immigration came back to the game early in the second half, when Fadhuwa’s deflected shot went into the back of the net. A few minutes later, Sakuna took the lead back by hitting a deflected shot of Sawitree.
Sakuna scored her first hat trick of the night from a counterattack. That was another piece of perfect combination from Thai internationals. Rani Mulyasari then scored for Immigration from a powerful shot to the left bottom corner. Nevertheless, that did not benefit enough, when Sakuna scored her fourth of the night, again with a long ball from her own half.
Fathimath Theeba extended the lead for Police Club, with the assistance from Sakuna. Sakuna then scored the sixth goal for Police by herself, thrashing all the hopes of Immigration to get back into the game.
Maulina scored the third for Immigration, followed by a wonder goal, a bicycle kick, from Rani to complete her hat trick.
Sakuna scored the seventh and Sawitree scored the last goal of Police, before Rani scored her fourth of the night, to end the match by 8-5.
