But Rochelle Humes didn’t seem too thrilled at the prospect of leaving her island paradise as she took to Instagram to lament the last day of her holiday on Sunday,
The TV presenter, 29, looked incredible in a multi-coloured zig-zag print swimsuit as she stuck out her bottom lip glumly while sipping on a fresh coconut.
She wrote: ‘You’ll all be happier than me to hear this is the last pic of me in the sun.’
The former The Saturdays singer pulled a mock-upset face as she wore her raven curls scraped back from her face in a high ponytail.
The mother-of-two went make-up free to highlight her naturally pretty features as she winked into the camera.
Rochelle and DJ husband Marvin, 33, has spent the post-Christmas period in the Maldives for the last eight years.
Marvin also recently shared a romantic snap of the couple where he commemorated the anniversary of him proposing to Rochelle.
The former JLS singer got down on one knee eight years previously during their first trip to the Maldives together.
He wrote: ‘Just a few islands away from this exact spot 8 years ago to the day she said Yes!!! She’s still holding on (although my hairline isn’t).
Rochelle also paid tribute to her other half, writing: ‘8 years ago today to the hour this smart man asked me to be his wife right here on this beach in the Maldives, and I’ve been annoying him every day since.
‘7 years of marriage and two babies later we are still the biggest kids. Here’s to more love and more margaritas.’
The couple tied the knot at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire in July 2012, before welcoming daughters Alaia-Mai, five, and Valentina Raine, 22 months.
Rochelle recently told how she believes her childhood stutter has been the secret to her success as a performer.
Speaking to Cosmopolitan, the singer revealed her mother sent her to a musical theatre group upon the recommendation of her speech therapist.
She said: ‘I was one of those kids who would hide behind their mum’s legs. I had a stutter and, what’s funny is, my mum sent me to a musical theatre group as I’d been in speech therapy and they’d said it would help.’
