The President’s message reads as follows:
“I was deeply saddened to hear the news of the deadly bus crash in Saskatchewan province, Canada, leading to the loss of many innocent lives, and causing serious injuries to many.
At this time of sorrow, the Government and the people of the Maldives join me in extending our profound sympathies to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of Canada.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the injured victims and their families, for a speedy recovery. Please also convey our heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved families.”
