Abdulla Fayaz has been appointed as the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Transportation and Civil Aviation.
Fayaz was handed his letter of appointment by President of Civil Service Commission Dr Ali Shameem in an event held at the Transport Ministry last Tuesday.
Fayaz has 11 years of experience in management positions under his belt. He served in different governmental positions for more than 6 years.
Fayaz filled positions such as the technical advisor for Minister of Housing and Infrastructure, as well as the Deputy Minister of the Ministry, board member of Maldives Building and Construction Company, and Gulhi-Falhu Investment Limited.
Fayaz completed his Bachelor of Engineering from Australian Queensland University of Technology.
Speaking in the event, President of CSC urged to work according to the regulations of CSC and under the instruction of the Transport Minister.
