A series of announcements have been made to change the ownership of two lagoons given out in Male’ atoll and two uninhabited islands in Raa atoll and Alifu Dhaalu atoll.
The announcements from the Tourism Ministry said that the change in ownership is being made because the current agreement holders want to change the rights granted to them under the current lease agreement.
The ownership is being changed that of Raa Bodufarufinolhu and Alifu Dhaalu Bodufinolhu and two lagoons in Male’ atoll, all leased to develop tourist resorts.
And so anyone with any issues regarding the four properties, be it debt or otherwise, are to contact the Ministry within 14 days.
