The number of people that tested positive for swine flu has reached 155 amidst the viral flu epidemic in the Maldives, announced the Health Protection Agency (HPA) on Tuesday.
According to HPA’s daily statistics for Tuesday, an additional eight people have tested positive for the H1N1 virus over 24 hours, while 32 patients are hospitalised due to the disease. Meanwhile, three people have died of swine flu amidst this epidemic.
The statistics show that 437 people have been tested for swine flu by Tuesday, while the numbers released the day before were 411 out of which 147 had tested positive.
