Ooredoo Maldives announced that the EXPO for Color Run 2018 will be held on November 18 and 19
Ooredoo Maldives revealed that their EXPO for Color Run 2018 will take place at the National Art Gallery where registered participants can pick up their kits between 1000 – 1800 hours during the day and 2000 – 2200 hours in the evening.
In order to collect their merchandise, runners are required to submit their National ID cards along with a printed or digital copy of their receipt of registration. Kits can also be collected on behalf of a registered runner, by submitting the collector’s ID card, along with a printed or digital copy of the participant’s ID card and the receipt of registration.
Should the need arise, an original passport or license card can be submitted instead of an ID card.
According to Ooredoo, if there are any kits left after the EXPO, the opportunity will be re-opened for those who unable to register earlier.
In addition to the kit collection, the EXPO will also feature fun activities and surprises organized by Ooredoo and event partners Unix Sporting, Coach Shuja, iRunners and Barista Maldives.
Ooredoo Color Run is a five-kilometre run, which aims to promote running as a fun way to achieve a healthy and active lifestyle. The runners are rewarded by a burst of colour powder from the colour station at each kilometre-mark.
A kite festival and a music show are also scheduled for the Color Run Day. The kite festival will be held in the morning prior to the Color Run, including fun displays and an exciting competition for children and kite lovers of all ages.
Following the Color Run event, the music show will be held from 8.00 p.m. onwards, featuring various artists from the local music industry.
