Newport View, a restaurant by Strada Private Limited, is being run in violation of regulation and State authorities are working on vacating the premises as per law and procedure, says Ministry of National Planning and Infrastructure.
Strada was issued a 30-day notice to vacate Newport View and the bridge-viewing platform on March 11. The notice period ended on April 11, but the company has not vacated the premises or shut down the businesses.
Ministry of National Planning and Infrastructure issued a statement over the company’s failure to comply with the notice this Monday, in which it declared that the company’s failure to comply with the notice meant the Newport View was now being run in violation of regulations.
