Maldives, India sign 4 key documents

The governments of Maldives and India have signed one bilateral agreement and three Memorandum of Understandings.

The agreements were signed after high-level discussions between Maldivian President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Hyderabad House this Monday afternoon.

The four documents:

  1. Agreement on the Facilitation of Visa Arrangements
  2. Memorandum of Understanding on Cultural Cooperation
  3. Memorandum of Understanding for establishing Mutual Cooperation to Improve the Ecosystem for Agribusiness
  4. Joint Declaration of Intent on Cooperation in the field of Information, and Communications Technology and Electronics
