Maldive Gas to provide free cooking gas to children’s shelter

Maldive Gas has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services to provide free cooking gas to the children’s shelter.

On behalf of the ministry, Minister Shidhatha Shareef signed the agreement while the Deputy Managing Director of Maldive Gas, Ali Ikram signed the MOU.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Gender Minister Shidhatha said that the partnership with Maldive Gas will prove to be beneficial and create ease to provide better services for children at the shelters.

Ali Ikram, Deputy Managing Director of Maldive Gas said the company plans on making a contribution to the shelter in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Maldive Gas.

In conjunction with the MOU, Maldives Gas also donated materials worth MVR 10,000 to the children’s shelter.
