Louise Thompson displays her washboard abs in a black cut-out swimsuit during Maldives break

She was recently criticised for posting a series of ‘inappropriate’ and ‘disrespectful’ snaps for Remembrance Day.

Yet Louise Thompson put the drama behind her as she took to Instagram on Thursday to share new sultry snaps from her Maldives getaway.

The former Made In Chelsea star, 30, displayed her washboard abs in a black cut-out swimsuit with a plunging neckline and long-sleeves.

The item of swimwear also highlighted Louise’s pert posterior as she posed up a storm during her idyllic getaway.

Louise left her caramel locks loose in a relaxed wavy hairdo and added a gingham patterned sun visor.

The reality star appeared to go makeup-free as she posed up a storm for a collection of sizzling snaps posted to her Instagram.

It comes after Louise suffered yet another ill-timed social media faux pas as she posted a series of bikini snaps on Remembrance Day on Wednesday morning.

The former Made In Chelsea star received criticism when she uploaded a series of racy photos of herself on November 11 as she relaxed in a pool during her recent trip to the Maldives.

Louise was slammed for being ‘inappropriate and disrespectful’ for posting a holiday snap to commemorate Remembrance Sunday at the weekend.

In the post, Louise donned a red bikini with a frilled detail that displayed her pert derrière as she gazed out over the breathtaking view.

Displaying her sun-kissed glow, Louise let her brunette locks fall loose down her shoulders in the snaps.

The reality star captioned the post: ‘Swimming in @pocketsport and spying on fish from a safe spot’.

Louise’s latest post drew criticism from some social media users who asked why she didn’t pay respect to ‘the fallen war heroes’ on Remembrance Day.

One user wrote: ‘Yes we can see you have a great figure…..let’s face it this is what the post is about!!! Why don’t you post showing your respects to the fallen war heroes as without them you and your privileged family would probably not be here today.’

One furious user said: ‘Shocking. Your family must be embarrassed at you. Save it for another day.’

Someone else who was unimpressed with the star’s post wrote: ‘Is that bikini made out of poppies? Cus I’ve been remembering it all day…’

Another person reacted to the post with: ‘Really touching tribute, well done for being so in touch with what’s happening today,’ while another simply wrote: ‘Lest we forget’.

Remembrance Day is a memorial day observed since the end of World War I to remember the members of the armed forces who died in the line of duty.

The day is celebrated in Commonwealth member states on November 11 to recall the end of hostilities on that date in 1918.

It comes after Louise was slammed as ‘disrespectful’ for sharing a holiday snap to commemorate Remembrance Sunday.

The brunette was criticised after posting three photographs of herself on the beach accompanied by an excerpt of Laurence Binyon’s 1914 poem, For The Fallen.

The TV personality swiftly deleted the original caption, replacing it with a butterfly emoji, after fans branded the images in poor taste.

It read: ‘They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

‘At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We will remember them.’

She added: ‘Thanks for sacrificing so much for our freedom.’

While many celebrities opted to share images of the poppy – the symbol of the annual Remembrance campaign – in her photo Louise posed in a black playsuit on the beach, with a straw bag emblazoned with ‘Happy days’ placed behind her.

This ignited fury among fans with one writing: ‘Glad to see you changed the caption. Completely inappropriate and disrespectful.’

Another typed: ‘I’m a fan but not right sentiment’ while a third wrote: ‘If she felt it was appropriate why did she delete it?.’

Amid the backlash, Louise then changed the caption to a simple butterfly emoji.

Some followers supported Louise, with one writing: ‘I think the caption and sentiment behind it is she has the freedom to travel and live the life she wants too because of the sacrifices made by the war heroes.

‘If she wants to put a pic on of her holiday then why not? It’s Remembrance Sunday, people can remember, reflect etc how ever they like or indeed choose not to! Social media comments exhaust me at times!’

Another wrote: ‘Well tbh at least Louise Thompson is posting something about remembrance and acknowledging it. There are a lot of influencers her age who are not even recognising it.’

Louise was among a host of celebrities – including David and Victoria Beckham, Tamara Ecclestone and Martine McCutcheon – to pay tribute to the war dead on Sunday.

Louise recently took to her Stories and showcased her incredible physique after getting ‘distracted’ by her ripped body while discussing her business.

Explaining the definition in her physique, Louise wrote: ‘Been active and following macros.’

The reality star revealed she was surprised she was looking so good after being ‘greedy’ with her food over the past two months.

She wrote: ‘I was videoing for a reason but got distracted when I realised by bod doesn’t look too bad, when I’ve been very greedy for pretty much all of August and September.’
