Kyrgyzstan defeats Maldives 3:0 in 3rd Asian Senior Men’s Central Zone Volleyball Championship

AKIPRESS.COM – Kyrgyzstan volleyball team defeated Maldives 3:0 in the 3rd Asian Senior Men’s Central Zone Volleyball Championship that took place in Maldives on March 22, reports the Volleyball Federation of Kyrgyzstan.

Kyrgyzstan took victory over the host nation with the score of 3:0 (25:22, 33:31, 25:20).

Kyrgyzstan led by Andrey Ankudinov will play the next game with Turkmenistan on March 25.

Four national teams –  Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Nepal and Turkmenistan – are playing.

The current Asian Central Zone champion is Bangladesh, however the team is missing this time.

The Kyrgyz national team made it to the finals in 2016, but lost to Bangladesh.
