Inside the £12m villa for sale at Maldives resort loved by David Beckham and Gordon Ramsay

The stunning Maldives resort widely reported to be a favourite with David Beckham, Gordon Ramsay and Madonna, is selling a luxury villa for a cool £12 million.

Global superstar Madonna has publicly described the Sovena Fushi resort as the “definition of heaven – riding bikes in the moonlight and watching movies under a starlit sky.”

And looking at the breath-taking photos it would be hard to disagree.

We might not be able to go anywhere right now, but we are free to dream about owning our own slice of tropical paradise.

Rightmove has featured the “dazzling property” in its latest property blog.

Sovena Fushi is tucked away on Kunfunadhoo Island in the Maldives and offers private beachfront mansions for the rich and famous, reportedly charging up to £23,000 a night.

It is said David Beckham and his family love the resort – so much they’ve returned several times, and also spread the word to their friends, including Gordon Ramsay and his family, who joined the Beckhams on a group holiday.

The most luxurious option is an incredible nine-bedroom villa complex, which is big enough to sleep 18 adults and has a huge lagoon pool with a water slide and incredible sunken dining areas in the middle.

Nestled on the sunrise side of the island, close to Dolphin Beach, the property offers views over the Indian Ocean and direct access onto the pristine white sandy beach.

It, of course, has other necessities such as a nanny’s room and an open-air spa bath ensuite to the master bedroom.

This nine-bed mansion is now on the market for £12,096,775 and has its own spa, private gym, sauna, and an abundance of entertaining space.

The gorgeous property is surrounded by natural beauty, too.

It’s hidden among dense foliage within touching distance of an unspoiled, UNESCO-protected coral reef.

What’s more, guests on the island can also go scuba diving with a marine biologist, snorkelling with manta rays, watch a film at an outdoor cinema or even go on a sunset dolphin cruise.

‘His and hers’ butler services and access to hotel facilities are included in the sale.

Located in the Baa Atoll, the resort is 30 minutes by seaplane from Malé International airport.
