HDC Suffers a disappointing home defeat against BML

Last year’s semi-finalist, Hulhumale Development Corporation (HDC) suffered a disappointing home defeat against United BML at the Hulhumale Futsal Ground.

Ishan Ibrahim (Sattu) scored all three goals for BML. Ali Haafiz (Haappe), who is believed to be the current Futsal King of Maldives, assisted for two goals of Sattu.

HDC came close to the goal on many occasions, but the BML Goal Keeper Mohamed Shafeeu, denied all those attempts.

Both goals from HDC came close to the end of the match. Ibrahim Furugan (Fugey) scored their first goal on the 37th minute and Abdulla Shafiu (Shaappe) scored the second goal in the added time.

The first match of the Group-H was played between Mifco and PSM, Mohamed Affan of PSM scored a late equalizer to secure a point.

Ihsan Mohamed and Ahmed Rifshaan scored the goals of Mifco, and Rimah Ahmed and Mohamed Affan scored the goals for PSM. Man of the match was awarded to Ahmed Rifshan of Mifco.
