HDC hammered YES TV to advance as the group leaders

HDC won easily against Yes TV 4-1, from which was expected to be a competitive display.
Mohamed Sujan Ahmed (Sujan) took the lead for HDC in the 10th minute of the match. Akram Abdul Rasheed (Aku) then extended the lead on the last minute of the first half, which went to the goal between the legs of the hapless YES TV’s goal keeper.

Yes TV made it 2-1 by a goal from Ahmed Yamin. However, Yaamin Mohamed of HDC scored a brace in the 30th and 38th minute of the match to make it a comfortable win.
United BML advanced as the runner-up of Group-B to the round of 16, after humiliating Islamic Affairs by a huge goal margin of 12-1.

Ihsan Ibrahim (Sattu) scored five goals, Mohamed Nasid Ahmed Naseem (Naatte) scored a brace, whereas Maahid Mohamed, Ibrahim Hamdhaan (Messi), Ismail Fazeel (Imma) and Ibrahim Aswad (Gabey) each scored a goal in the match. Ansar Ibrahim scored the only goal for Islamic Affairs, who also has an own goal recorded under his name.

MPL and Club TCL advanced to the knockout stages from Group-A. TCL lead the group by goal difference, where both teams have collected a tally of 7 points from group stage.

MPL won against Medianet 4-0, who also had a chance to advance further by defeating MPL. On the other hand, Club TCL scored 7 goals past Civil Court without conceding any, to win the match by 7-0.
