FSM continues their amazing run in the Club Maldives Cup 2018 with a second comeback in the group stage.
They obtained a 2-2 draw against Police Club yesterday, coming back from a two-goal deficit in two minutes time to equalize.
Police Club scored an early goal in the second minute of the game to take the lead. This goal came from the promising Ahmed Rifshan (Kakka). He then extended the lead in the 15th minute.
The first goal for FSM came from Mohamed Amjadh (Amjaynoon) in the 35th minute of the match. Just two minutes after the initial goal came the equalizer, this time with a strike from Ahmed Razunee Mohamed.
FSM also did a comeback in their first match, where they came back from a 3 goals deficit in three minutes to equalize with Team Avsec 4-4.
In the other match of the group, Fenaka won against Team Avsec 3-1, to see if they have any chance to play in the knockout stage. However, a draw in the match between FSM and Police Club left them third in the group with four points, whereas FSM and Police Club both earned five points.
FSM advanced as the group leaders with goal difference.
