Fashir hails Ooredoo inside the opening sixteen minutes

Mohamed Fashir of Ooredoo scored a hat-trick inside the opening sixteen minutes of the match, to progress to the Quarter Final of the Club Maldives Cup 2018, beating Customs RC 3-2.

A quick goal from Fashir in the 44th second of the match gave a very early lead to Ooredoo, letting Customs off the hook just after the beginning.

Fashir extended the lead in the 8th minute and completed his hat-trick in the 16th minute of the match.

That was Fashir’s 9th goal and 2nd hat-trick in the tournament. He is now the leading top scorer of the tournament, ahead of Dhiraagu’s Naaif Shafeeq and TCL’s Mohamed Liyah.

Both Custom’s goal came in the second half. Ahmed Humar and Hassan Noorish scored for Customs in the 26th and 37th minute respectively.

Goalkeeper of Ooredoo, Ashham Abdulla had a tiring second half in protecting his goal. Moreover, he made good saves to deny Customs from equalizing. He was awarded the Man of the Match for the brilliance.

Ooredoo will face Maldivian in the Quarter Final of the tournament.
