Ex-minister vows to recover “corruption money” spent by govt

The former Minister of Youth and Sports Mohamed Maleeh proclaimed that the “corruption money” spent by the current administration would be obtained at all costs, selling the houses of top government officials if need be.

Speaking at the opposition rally held at Jumhoory Party’s main hub, Maleeh slammed the development projects of government saying that they involve corruption. He added that political leaders are being jailed as the government is left with no other options.

He also vowed to seek expertise help to determine the exact expenses of the development projects being carried out.

Noting that there will come a day when everyone will be held equal in front of the law, Maleeh declared that President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom’s government is now weakened and that the opposition will soon take the reign.

He remarked said that if removing a president from power is illegitimate, all subjects mentioning the event should be removed from the Constitution.
