Neither side could find the back of the net in the first half. However, Dhiraagu came very close to scoring in the 12th minute. Yooh Naseer (Yookko) failed to tap the ball into the open net of Wamco’s goal roughly two yards, with a cross from the left flank.
The second half of the match brought many actions. As such, Naaif Shafeeg scored from a deflected free kick in the 28th minute of the match, to give the lead to Dhiraagu.
On the other hand, counter attacks from Wamco gave dreadful moments to Dhiraagu, where Ali Haafiz (Haappe) played a vital role.
Equalizer for Wamco was scored by Ibrahim Junah in the dying minutes of the match. Haappe was the provider as he dribbled past two opponents to cross the ball to the face of the goal, to make it very easy for Junah to tap the ball in to the net.
As the last action of the normal time, Mohamed Rifau (Aska) of Dhiraagu kept their hopes alive, as he stayed solid in a one on one chance against Haappe to stop him from scoring just before the final whistle.
