Dhiraagu in partnership with Women in Tech has successfully wrapped up the ‘Girls to Code’ Program held in Gdh. Thinadhoo.
A total of 17 participants learned about various aspects of web development and coding in this program held in Thinadhoo, which ran from 12th January to 15th March 2021.
Girls to Code is a joint program held by the telecom giant Dhiraagu, and Women in Tech Maldives for girls aged from 14 to 20 years, to encourage and inspire more women to join the science and technology field. The participants were taught how to code and develop basic websites using programming tools.
Women In Tech Maldives is a non-profit organization working to inspire, empower and celebrate women in science and technology. The organization aims to accelerate the growth of women in science and technology by creating opportunities that foster innovation and build the community.
