India has extended USD 150 million foreign currency swap support to the Maldives under the USD 400 mn. the bilateral agreement signed in July 2019.
The High Commission of India in the Maldives tweeted on Tuesday:
“Done deal! #India has extended USD 150 million foreign currency swap support to @MMA_Maldives under the USD 400 mn. bilateral agreement signed in July 2019.The arrangement was activated to help mitigate the financial impact of #COVID19.”
