Bank of Maldives (BML) conducts a series of workshops at schools on financial literacy as part of their Aharenge Bank campaign.
BML conducted the workshops in three different schools in Male’ and provided information on the opportunities available in the financial sector. BML believes that learning how to make informed decisions about personal finances and savings at a young age is more important now than ever.
As part of their Aharenge Bank, Dhivehinge Bank campaign, BML has planned an extensive program of initiatives to support local communities. The first event was a community photography competition on Instagram followed by the opening of a basketball court and then a clean up of AA. Rasdhoo. Day 4 initiative commemorated World Cancer Day which was followed by the launch of their Life Style Loan for homeowners. BML recently opened their self service center in Vilimale’.
BML invested MVR 300 million for community projects under their Aharenge Bank campaign for 2017.
