Black magic paraphernalia found from 2 houses in Maakurath

Maldives Police Service has seized paraphernalia used for black magic during searches of two houses in R. Maakurath.

MPS said the paraphernalia was seized during a joint operation run by R. Ungoofaaru Police Station and Police Intelligence on July 31, based on Intel received by the authority that black magic was being conducted at the two houses.

Authorities found books and pieces of paper with spells believed to be used in black magic from the two houses.

The case is under investigation by R. Ungoofaaru Police Station.

No suspects have been arrested yet.

Black Magic in most countries is considered harmless fun but in the Maldives it is treated like a contagious virus that must be eliminated at all cost with the full mobilisation of the police and defence services. I mean seriously! How many ‘religious leaders’ suffered heart attacks when they discoved black magic was being practised on R. Maakurath?
