Biman Airlines, the national flag carrier of Bangladesh has provided assistance to bring in essential equipment needed to complete the Hospital being built in Hulhumale COVID Villa, along with medical supplies.
As per the official Twitter account of Maldivian, the national airline of Maldives, the supplies were airlifted to the Maldives in the early hours of Saturday.

Maldivian expressed gratitude towards Steller Aviation, Biman Airlines and all the government agencies that provided assistance in the operation.
The COVID Village Hospital is a 290-bed medical facility being built to admit and treat large numbers of patients simultaneously. The facility is established near Tree Top Hospital in Hulhumale’, and multiple government institutions are working around the clock to complete the project, including Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), which is leading the work.
