Two people have been hospitalized with injuries after an accident on the Hulhumale’ Highway this Thursday morning.
The two victims have been identified as a 29-year-old and a 36-year-old – both from L. Kalaidhoo – and driving a motorcycle over on the highway between Male’ City and Hulhumale’.
Aasandha Company, which runs the Hulhumale’ Hospital, says the two accident victims were brought in to the hospital on an MTTC private hire vehicle at 5:30 am.
One of the two victims, the 36-year-old, has been severely injured, says Aasandha Company.
“Both sustained injuries. The injuries to the 36-year-old are more severe,” said a media official from Aasandha Company who spoke to ‘Sun’.
The two accident victims have now been transferred to Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) in Male’ City for further treatment.
